Celebrating Wedding Anniversary (without the kids). Food delicious as always and we enjoyed a great tiramisu for our Anniversary.

I've been here a few times, business dinner and date night. it's a nice downtown Naperville place, always busy on weekends...not that big of a fan, my wife concurs.. expensive pasta. It's more about a nice outing, classy feel to it.. but if just for the food, I think there are plenty of other Italian spots in Chicagoland that are better.

Had the pork tenderloin with mushrooms, it was excellent. Service was good. Bar was fair.

Had a great time with the Scheuerlein family.

Walked in and was excited to dine here. Everyone was nice and the atmosphere was positive with lots of happy diners at their tables. Came to ordering wine and were denied (on our anniversary of course) due to my fiance's ID being out of state. Great way to make us just walk out - real shame.

My friends and family love to eat here. The Italian dishes are awesome and as soon as I enter the Italian smells are too. Their spaghetti with meat sauce, bread knots and Stromboli are my favorites.

Wonderful customer service from staff, delicious food, very authentic. We liked it so much we're returning for Father's day!

I sent my friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The dishes they serve are appetizing and the crew is efficient and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we enjoy a lovely evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Like the rest of the Francesca restaurants, service is not the best. Go down the street to Rosebud instead.

La Sorella continues to be the example for which other restaurants in general, but especially in Naperville, should aspire. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I couldn't ask for a better dining experience.

We found this restaurant to be an authentic Italian eatery. The carved wood bar was beautiful and with our seating in the upper level, we were able to see it. There was an extensive wine list and multiple tempting dinner choices.The ricotta appetizer was recommended so we got one for the table to share. It was huge, a dinner size but delicious. The fettuccini was also delicious though a bit salty.From the moment we walked in until the time we left, the experience was wonderful

The food is good, however, it's super noisy and very crowded....my husband got elbowed a couple of times when the waitstaff was serving the table next to us. Felt like we were all shoehorned into place. If you are looking to have real conversation with your dinner companions, this isn't the place.

Great service and atmosphere was nice. However, the food could have been better. I ordered one of their pizzas, and was quite excited for an authentic Italian treat. But the crust was quite hard and the sauce had a bitter tinge. Others in my party seemed to enjoy the pasta and chicken dishes, so perhaps target those areas of the menu.

The food was excellent and the wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable and prompt. Ambience was good as well. An excellent choice in downtown Naperville for a date night or for some high quality Italian. The best Italian food I've had in a long time.

Date night success! Good food, kind helpful service, generous portions, delicious leftovers. Came for pasta, enjoyed the bread, stayed for the cappuccino and dessert. Will be back soon!

We wanted Italian food for dinner so we randomly decided to try this restaurant out. First of all, we would highly recommend this restaurant!!! Here's why: good service and great food. They have fancy Fiji water ($5 for the bottle). The food was affordable too.However: The tables are kind of too close together and the music choice could improve.Try it out. We got the risotti con asparagi, arigatoni alla paesana, and the pollo arrosto alla romana. All of it was very good.

This Italian restaurant is absolutely delicious. The bread is yummy with the cheese and oil. Then we ordered the grilled calamari and the bruschetta with the artichoke , beyond delicious. For my meal I got the bow tie pasta in the cream sauce. The bow tie pasta it's self was hand made and made into a large size bow tie. It came with like 6 now ties (trust me) the portion was perfect. It was absolutely to die for yummy. Would recommend this place for sure and would definitely come back.

Was told I needed to get up from the public bench so they could clean tables and then never cleaned the tables.

The menu and service were ahead of our expectations. I really loved the ambience of this place. First-rate place to take the family out for dinner.

We went to the Restaurant on the spur of the moment. It was snowing and cold - allowing us to get a table on short notice. We ordered the special 3 course combination, the calamari was perfectly done and the sauce was nice and spicy. The risotto was nice and hearty. We ordered the seafood pasta and the beef for mains, the seasoning was spot on and the beef was prepared as ordered. The desserts were good. They have a really nice wine collection to choose from. The service was excellent without it being in your face. The only blemish on the evening was that the food was not hot when it got to the table.

My husband took me here for my 30th birthday and it was the best! It was an intimate place with great service and amazing food options. We started with the calamari appetizer which was the best calamari we've ever had. There was also so much there that we barely had room for dinner. Dinner portions were also large and probably the best food we've ever had as well. I just don't have the words to describe how great a place this is. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I get to eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I got to say the customer service is always excellent and they keep the spot neat regularly. Rates are affordable and they serve generous portions.

We ordered a shrimp pasta, and there were only 3 pieces of shrimp in it, while they charged 20 bucks, with an explanation of 15 bucks for the shrimp, and 5 bucks for the pasta. 5 bucks per piece of shrimp is definitely not reasonable! I asked for a straw for my 6 year old sister, and after asking 3 different waiters for a straw, after waiting for 10 minutes for a straw, did I finally receive one. I’m only giving this one star because I cannot give this 0 stars.

Always a great experience! Food and service are terrific and the chef always accommodates my request for my favorite salmon.

Looking for lighter Italian fare, not the usual meatballs and heavy red sauce? La Sorella di Francesca could be made for you. We enjoyed a wedge salad, a lentils and spinach appetizer, carbonara pasta, and a fish dish. Service was prompt and unobtrusive. From the crowds at the door, we tourists gathered that this is a cherished and lively restaurant.

I made a reservation to have dinner with my family All tables had paper cover for protection, except My table , it was never clean or disinfected Can’t believe they risk us like this including my little baby , I’m so disappointed of this place . COVID -19 risk , not a safety place to have dinner . We are now worry about our health .

Absolutely fantastic, everything from the atmosphere to the staff to the pricing. Visited a year ago with a special event and brought the family this time. For the quality of the food and the amazing taste the prices are unbeatable. Our waiter was super friendly, funny, and light hearted and made our dinner amazing as well. I will definitely stop here anytime I am in Naperville just for the amazing experience.

When we arrived there was no one to seat us. In fact we had to ask other patrons is this where you go to get seated. Strike 1, but whose counting. Eventually we were seated they provide bread, oil, and cheese. Bread is crunchy but with the oil, it's off the hook. I ordered a cup of sausage and lentil soup, very tasty.

Had a 730pm Birthday reservation waited 30 min to be seated, other people were being seated as they walked up. Hopefully you have patience.The food was mediocre. I ordered Chilean Sea Bass and was served Talapia.Not impressed, not sure why there are so many satisfied customers, seemed a little discriminatory.Very loud atmosphere

We went here for our anniversary. The food was under cooked and the pizza sauce was too bitter. I would not recommend it to others. Even the lava cake dessert was gross.

For the price, I expected a lot more. The service was lacking as our waiter seemed to be in quite a rush the whole time. He did his job efficiently and nothing more.However, the food was even worse: the pizza seemed to be fresh out of the microwave, the pasta was rubbery, and the chicken was dry and has literally no flavor.In fact, we couldn't even take any leftovers home onsidering that we could barely eat the food the first time around.In the end, the service was sub par but okay, but it's the food that really killed the experience.

I hesitate to tell people how great this place is. I'd like to keep it to ourselves, but truly an amazing place. Everything about Francesca's is great

I ordered Mother’s Day brunch from Francesca’s during the 2020 covid lockdown. I’ve taken my mom here for years and didn’t want this year to be an exception. This experience reminded me why we love Francesca’s so very much. From the process of ordering over the phone, to the curbside pickup, to the quality and arrangement of the food, everything was wonderful. Thank you Sorella di Francesca for such a warm, hospitable Mother’s Day experience during the pandemic. <3

The ambiance was good but not the best we have experienced with this chain. Our waitress was attentive and very welcoming. The food was a 4 of 5 for us. The flavors needed more strength. Good but slightly bland. The key lime pie was to die for.

Great taste but small menu

Excellent food! Atmosphere was nice. It did get quite loud upstairs where large groups are seated. Not sure why people feel the need to use outdoor voices to speak to each other....you can't have a conversation with your dinner companion without raising your own voice or signing to each other😟.... making the volume of the room painful. Not the restaurants fault, just the experience we had.

The food was terrible the only thing that was enjoyable was the bread they gave in the beginning. The pizza was terrible the sauce and cheese were cold and the ravioli had no flavor at all. Not even on par with Olive Garden let alone a high end Italian restaurant that it pretends to be. Would not recommend to my worst enemy truly the worst meal I’ve ever had.

Quattro formaggi pizza, veal medallions, AND linguine with scallops. Personal favs! Tiramisu was great! NOTE: oil is on the table BUT, You HAVE TO ASK FOR BREAD and parmesan cheese! It would've been nice to have it offered.

One of my favorite places for Italian food! Top service, relaxing environment....come and stay and eat
